Before opening our doors, our founder, Andrew Hornick, spent 12 years working at a Chevrolet and Cadillac dealership. During that time, he gained in-depth technical training, experience with manufacturer standards, and a strong understanding of modern vehicle systems. But more importantly, he saw firsthand what worked and what didn’t in the automotive repair world.
The decision to start Hornick's Diesel & Auto Repair was driven by a simple yet powerful goal: to take the high standards, technical expertise, and structured processes learned at the dealership level and combine them with honest communication, quality workmanship, and a customer-first approach. We wanted to create a shop where people feel respected, informed, and confident in the repairs being performed on their vehicles.
